Position Overview:
We are looking for a strategic opener Business Development Representative. This role is about building smart, repeatable outbound systems to reach schools, churches, and nonprofits. Success takes patience, timing, and a relationship-first mindset. You will be the engine behind our outreach - researching leads, running outbound campaigns, and qualifying opportunities. Once a lead is ready, you will hand it off to the internal team to close. If you are disciplined, proactive, and speak near-native English that sounds local, this is your chance to prove that great outbound works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and research prospect lists targeting institutional decision makers.
- Execute a consistent daily cadence of sales outreach via calls and email.
- Prioritize outreach based on seasonal buying cycles.
- Qualify opportunities against defined criteria.
- Maintain strict CRM hygiene and accurate pipeline tracking.
- Execute clean handoffs to the internal office team.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of sales or business development experience.
- Experience in hospitality/tourism/events is a plus.
- Strong organizational and process discipline.
- Near-native English proficiency, spoken and written.
- CRM experience (preference for HubSpot or Salesforce).
- Proficiency with Google Workspace.
- Ability to independently build and manage prospect lists.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with seasonal or cyclical sales environments.
- Background in event services or rentals.
- Familiarity with the Washington D.C. or Richmond market.
